This tool adds an image of your handwritten signature to the PDF. Many everyday documents accept this, but the rules depend on the document and the country. Some contracts and official forms require a certified digital signature, so check what the person or organisation receiving the document accepts.

A signature image looks like your handwriting but isn’t linked to your identity. A certified digital signature uses a certificate to prove who signed and that the file hasn’t changed. This tool adds the image type only.

Enter a page number to sign that page. If you leave the box blank, the signature goes on the last page, where most documents are signed.

You can place it at the bottom right, bottom left or bottom centre of the page, and set its width as a percentage of the page. If it looks too big or small, adjust the number and sign again.

Each run adds one signature to one page. To add more, download the signed file, choose it again and repeat. This works for several pages or for several people signing in turn.

Not yet. The tool currently supports drawing your signature in the box. Draw it slowly and clear the box to try again if it doesn’t look right.

Because it is an image, it could be copied from the file. Don’t share signed documents with people you don’t trust, and keep your original unsigned file.
